'Milk Matters' - Bottle Refusal
By following Suzy’s advice, a healthy baby should be bottle feeding within 1 to 3 days. Why? Because she has an intuitive approach to encouraging healthy, breastfed babies to enjoy bottle or mixed feeding and she has a 100% success rate with this consultation package.
‘Milk Matters’ – Bottle Refusal is ideal when:
- Your baby (2-9 months old) is refusing milk from a bottle
- Your baby will only chew on the teat or drink 30-40mls
- You have tried various bottles at different times of the day
- Constant breastfeeding means your older child is feeling left out
- You need more sleep and your partner wants to feed your baby
- You need a little feeding freedom to go to a wedding, work trip …

'Milk Matters' - Bottle Refusal in detail
I arrive in the early morning and spend a little time with the mother filling in an infant feeding history. You might perhaps like advice about expressing or storing your milk. When your baby shows signs of hunger I offer the first bottle. As I do this when the mother is not at home, perhaps this is the ideal time to treat yourself to a spa treatment or see family and friends… Your chosen family member takes on the overall care of your baby. It might be that I stay overnight, sometimes a little longer. I keep a particularly attentive eye on your baby’s well being throughout the consultation, respecting your little one’s emotional needs whilst gently encouraging bottle feeding. I will keep you updated, almost in real time, so that you are well informed of events throughout the consultation period.
When I leave you with your bottle accepting baby, I give you day to day advice about maintaining the bottle or bottle and breastfeeding plan for the future.
The in-home fee applies for consultations that take place within a 10 miles radius of Harrow-on-the-Hill Station. For other areas, please give your postcode, full address if located outside the UK, and check costs with Suzy.
The Milk Matters consultation is solely for the purpose of getting your healthy baby accustomed to drinking milk from a bottle. For your baby’s well-being, any other concerns (i.e. sleep) are addressed at a later date.
Please note that this consultation is not suitable for babies who suffer from medicated oesophageal reflux.
The fee is calculated on the basis that Suzy is a working guest in your home and you are respectfully requested to provide food and accommodation when an overnight stay is envisaged. If you have limited space, please call Suzy so that she can advise.
